I feel honored by your visit, with your curiosity, and interest.

    I chose to be an artist. I nearly chose nuclear physics, but I could not forget my experience of the Hungarian revolution, and the insanity of war. I chose not to become a weapons maker contributing to the never ending harming of others for one reason or other, even if the reasons were nationalistic, perceived as noble, or even in the name of God. I very quickly realized that reason is seldom loving, but love is always reasonable. So I chose the world of love - art.

    The philosophers speak of the three aspects of universal deity, truth, beauty, and goodness, or, mind, matter,and spirit. The religious mind speaks of the Trinity, as Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost, or Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, etc. The scientific mind sees it as positive,negative and neutral forces. The business mind refers to it as the offer, the desire, and the payment. I choose to call it the creative, maintaining, and the destructive forces.

    Examining these three energies, the maintaining force is necessary in world affairs. It is a conservative force, necessary, quite neutral, and the majority of people align themselves with it. The destructive force is simply that. We see it in the news media every day; those who live by the sword also die by the sword as the scriptures advise. Creative energy excites, it gives form to the unknown, the yet unseen, the yet unheard, or the yet unthought. It is the language of love. It is art!

    Matter is the matrix of the creative force and combined with inspiration, truth, revelation,and creation; these are the sources and the tools of an enlightened and creative mind.

    The arts feed us as primarily music, sculpture,paintings, poetry, drama, stories and film. Without all the arts, this world would be much less interesting. Through the creative expression of man as a self developing organism, the divine force continues its onward expansion. The creativity continues to manifest from the material world to the psychic world shining like the sun illuminating the world of our souls. Interacting with art, whether by doing or absorbing the work of others, stimulates our minds. We are considered wise when we know others, but enlightened when we know ourselves.

    In my art, I attempt to mirror God's creations. My realistic landscapes capture the beautiful light as I experience it through my eyes, as it filters through our magnificent atmosphere, the sky, clouds, hills, trees etc. It is noble. It is our playground, our stage for our existence, our lives. The landscape is man's playground, but man has an effect on it. I reflect this with what I call - my Ethereal-ism paintings. In my figurative works, I work to mirror our souls, our emotions, our world, and our time...our modality. In my abstracts I try to eliminate the thinking and strive for creative lines, planes, and focus on emotions; giving you the driving wheel, freeing you to go wherever you want, and experience what ever you feel.

    Soon I will be doing some contemplative visuals on the human condition, considered from mythological, philosophical, psychological influences expressed through some contemporary visual allegories.
